Growing up in the beach town of Newcastle, Heath developed an appreciation for and involvement in both surf and skate culture. Living in the area also encouraged his love for local live music, theatre and street art. A little offbeat and eccentric, Heath is perfect for hipster, skater, musician, hippie, punk, stoner and artist types, as well as young lover and best friend. With shades of Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp, he is also great at playing wayward, dark, criminal, mentally disturbed, and fantasy period characters. Heath has trained in acting for 12 years, including the full-time course at Actors Centre Australia, and short courses at NIDA. He is experienced on stage and in front of the camera, and is highly competent in various US and UK accents. Heath can also play both clarinet and saxophone, and he produces his own music under the alias of ‘Gwylan’. Heath’s other skills include skate boarding, cycling and stage combat.
