Biography

Finleigh is an actor, dancer, and voice-over artist based in Melbourne, Australia. He has always been a performer at heart; from a young age he was emotional, empathetic, persuasive, inclusive, and of course, loved the attention.

Once given the chance to explore the world of Drama during Secondary School, Finleigh didn’t waste an opportunity: He performed a major role in every stage production, which included: Clueless, Grease, and the Canterbury Tales. He led the school through assemblies, started an improv troupe that performed multiple shows a year, and taught for year 7’s and 8’s during his last 2 years of Secondary School (with guidance from the Drama teacher).

Nearly a decade later, in 2019, Finleigh began his journey as a career Actor with training at Screen Actors Australia and The Improv Conspiracy to ease himself back in. He then found the Howard Fine Acting Studio where he took online courses, and participated in Scene Studies, before signing up for the Part-time Course in 2021. The wonderful instructors, Philip Hayden, Sass Pinci, Marilyn McIntyre, David Coury, and of course Howard Fine, all gave Finleigh the tools to be a successful actor and guided him to find his passion within the industry: The Power of Voice.

Having performed in a few student short films, pilots, and commercials over the last couple of years, Finleigh feels prepared to bring all of himself to any role he’s suited for. In 2022, he debuted on Stage in MLOC’s production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. He also has a gaming-based YouTube Channel, where he provides unique character voices to every piece of dialogue in the game.
