Biography
Lisa is a successful stand-up comedian, writer and producer, with a rich and varied background who has created and performed in three acclaimed solo stand-up comedy shows over the last three years. For 20 years, she worked as a photographer before transitioning into roles as a case manager in homelessness, mental health, and disabilities.
Her career also includes extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Her most recent roles have included the lead role of Aunt Phyllis in the theatre production of ‘Why Can’t Women Be Like Men’, Margaret in ‘Fisk', a permanent resident in Neighbours, and many more.
Her training includes Brave Studios, Melbourne, Bachelor of Performing Arts/Comedy, Collarts, Melbourne. Stand-up Comedy, Byron Bay and CK Singing School, Melbourne.
As a mother and grandmother, Lisa has always balanced a vibrant personal life with my professional endeavours. Her athletic background includes being a state netball and water polo player, and growing up in a coastal town has made her an adept surfer and swimmer.
She has also overcome many different challenges in her personal life over the years, which she can draw from when acting. Lisa is a strong, hardworking and determined woman with excellent time-management, listening and communication skills.
