Mikayla Marie

Growing up in a cemetery to British-Indian and Australian parents, Mikayla developed a bold imagination — and an instinct for performance — from a very young age. She began training in dance at four, later expanding into singing, musical theatre, acting, writing and stand-up comedy.

A four-time National Grand Champion dancer and choreographer, Mikayla represented Australia at the USASF Dance World Championships in the United States, placing fourth. Inspired by performers such as Tina Fey, Bill Hader and Robin Williams, she is drawn to character-driven comedy grounded in truth and heart.

Mikayla trained at Acting Performance Studios before completing a Bachelor of Performing Arts at The Australian College of the Arts (CollArts), graduating in 2024.

Her recent credits include the CollArts comedy revue The Assignment, performing stand-up at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and regular appearances at open mic nights across Melbourne’s comedy circuit. She recently filmed the short film Dinner Party for SKEEMS.

Mikayla is currently developing original work for television while continuing to pursue opportunities across screen and stage.
