Biography

Born in Melbourne to British/Indian and Australian parents, the youngest of her family. Mikayla Maria prides herself on her heritage, hard work, and dedication to her performing arts. She started competitive dancing, musical theatre, and choreography at the age of 10 until she was 20. During that time she did numerous dancing jobs, charity events, and competitions, becoming a 4-time National Grand champion and even going to America to compete in the USACF Dance World Championships, coming 4th for Australia. After competing for so long, she found her passion for screen acting and theatre, attending classes at Acting Performance Studios, and learning under Toby Derrick, Luke James, and Robert Johnson.

Mikayla has been attending APS since 2018 and has learned to master on-screen and theatre acting, also being a part of other courses such as screen acting with Rhys Muldoon and being in a dramatic short film through the school called “Shang high”.

Mikayla would like to work within the Australian arts community to show and further her skills and knowledge.
